If you are traveling with a large group like us, we had 6 adults and 5 kids ages 5-9 then this house will be perfect for you. One of the biggest pluses is this home has a UV filter on all of their water so you do not need to buy water which was an uncommon treat for homes in Rarotonga. The home also is super outfitted for families with lots of books for ages and interests, lots of games, all the extra seasonings and condiments to make cooking a breeze, water shoes and snorkel equipment (we brought our own but would have been handy if we hadn't), plenty of towels for bathrooms AND pool/beach, a huge covered deck where some lazed away time in the hammocks while the husbands and kids fed the eels and fish in the pond alongside the deck and made sure we kept fresh water outside for all the stray but very friendly dogs who loved to be petted and would follow us down to the beach. The caretakers are just a shout away and came within minutes when we couldn't figure out how to use the phone in the home (we were dialing too many numbers, Raro only uses 5 numbers total), just to drop off fresh picked bananas, check if we needed driving directions to meet our fishing charter and more. We spent the first of 2 weeks in Rarotonga at this home and the second week at a fancier home but we felt more comfortable here and would definitely choose this home again.
